Susan Yarian, MD
Dr Yarian is a graduate of the University of Florida, with a BS in Industrial Engineering. She worked as an engineer for years before pursuing her medical degree at the University of South Carolina, where she also was a resident. As the founding partner of ObGyn Associates of St Augustine, she has been gratified to watch the practice grow from a one doctor, one midwife office in 2001 to our current practice.
She is particularly interested in high risk obstetrics, but enjoys all aspects of gynecologic care. Even after 18 yrs in private practice, she feels it is a privilege to be a part of women’s lives in such an important way.
Academic Background:
- B.S., Industrial Engineering, University of Florida
- M.D., University of South Carolina School of Medicine
- Residency, Obstetrics & Gynecology, University of South Carolina
Susan’s first love is her family; she and her husband are proud parents of two fine daughters. She enjoys volleyball, Ashtanga yoga, horseback riding and wishes she could tap dance but finds that enthusiasm doesn’t always equal ability.

Eric S. Pulsfus, MD
Dr. Pulsfus’ practice incorporates all aspects of general gynecology and obstetrics. He has a special interest in menopausal medicine and urinary incontinence, including surgical and non-surgical treatments. Other areas of interest are obstetrics and laparoscopic surgery.

- B.S., Florida State University
- M.D., University of South Florida
- Residency, Medical College of Wisconsin
Eric spent part of his childhood in our own St. Augustine and attended Mill Creek Elementary and Nease High School. While raising two son's he and his wife enjoy golf, travel and entertaining.

Thomas Searle, MD
Dr. Tom Searle finds himself in St. Augustine via an unconventional path.
He was born in Belize, Central America to a Welsh colonial father and
a Spanish colonial mother. He completed his education from the age of
12 years in the United Kingdom. After graduating from Aberdeen University
in Scotland and practicing in the United Kingdom, Dr. Searle relocated
to the United States. This necessitated a second residency which was completed
in June 2007 in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Searle enjoys all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology
but is particularly interested in laparoscopic procedures and surgery
to correct urinary incontinence. Accompanying Dr. Searle to St. Augustine
is his wife Lorraine and their three sons.

Kelly Jago, MD
We are so pleased to welcome Dr. Kelly Jago to our practice.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, she did her ObGyn residency at The Naval Medical Center San Diego. Then, she served our country as a Navy physician for four years, including a tour in Iceland and humanitarian ship duty during Hurricane Katrina! She practiced in Jacksonville for several years, but lives in and loves St Augustine. Her wealth of experience, warm manner and careful approach to medicine make her an excellent physician.
Kelly enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, but she is particularly interested in adolescent gynecology and new, expectant moms.
The loves of her life are her daughter, Lia, and two dogs: Cassata and Chloe. During her spare time, she enjoys windsurfing at the Salt Run, golf, basketball, biking with friends and going to the beaches at Anastasia Island with her daughter.
